Invites, people & circles
Invite someone
- In the app: Admin → People → Invite.
- Choose their role and which circles they join, then share the link however you like (text, email, a note on the fridge).
- They open the link, get the app from the download page, and they're in. The server address comes with the invite, so nobody types URLs.
Invite links expire, and you can revoke one before it's used. Removing someone signs out all their devices.
Roles
| Role | Can |

| Owner | Everything, including server settings and keys. There's one owner. |
| Admin | Manage the library, people, invites and packs. |
| Viewer | Browse, download, request titles and watch together. |
Circles
A circle is a group of people on your server: "Family", "College friends", "Us two". Everyone is in Everyone by default.
- Our List, movie nights, streaks, the yearly recap and the clocks on the home screen are per circle.
- Watch Together invites pick a circle (or specific people).
- A circle of two is the long-distance mode: clocks, "probably asleep" and good-night-friendly scheduling shine there.
Good to know
- Downloads come straight from your server, so your upload speed is the limit. Set an upload cap in Admin → Settings if you need bandwidth for other things.
- Watch Together needs almost no bandwidth: everyone plays their own downloaded copy.
- Each person sets their city in Settings for the weather on the clocks. It's optional.
